Training Program on Skills Enhancement for Alumni Coordinators

The Catanduanes State University (CatSU) Alumni Relations and Services Office held its first Training Program on Skills Enhancement for Alumni Coordinators on March 17, 2021 at the College of Information and Communication Technology building.

Prof. Arthur I. Tabirara, the University Alumni Relations Officer delivered his opening remarks to welcome the participants composed of Alumni Coordinators of the University. Engr. Rafael O. Santelices, Administrative Officer V of Internal Audit Services Office, likewise gave an Overview of the topics to be discussed. He further emphasized the importance of the Tracer Studies to the institution in accordance with the ISO standards.


Ms. Chiradel T. Dela Cruz also talked about the process of extracting data from the Survey forms to encoding in excel forms to be used for possible research studies. She was assisted by Prof. Ericson Salazar.


Meanwhile, Prof. Arvie A. Alferez discussed the functions of the Alumni Office which is primarily to trace the CatSU graduates and provide assistance as they seek employment.

Prof. Tabirara emphasized that the training program is aimed to aid the Alumni coordinators in the process of collecting data and monitoring CatSU graduates of their employment status.  #CVecilles
