The Provincial Local Government
Unit headed by Governor Joseph “Boboy” Cua, turned over today, March 4, 2022,
one unit of Patient Transport Vehicle (Ambulance) to Catanduanes State
University (CatSU) President, Dr. Patrick Alain T. Azanza.
Dr. Azanza extended his deepest
gratitude to Governor Cua for his continuous efforts in requesting additional
ambulance units for the province, and supporting CatSU by generously donating
one for the University. He also thanked Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office
(PCSO) Chairman, Anselmo Simeon P. Pinili, PCSO General Manager, Royina Garma,
AGM Julieta Aseo; Atty. Marina Medrano, and CatSU alumnus, Anjo De Leon for all
the help in this project.
On hand to witness the turn-over
rites held at the CatSU Main Campus were top university officials, Dr. Maria
Edna R. Iñigo, Vice President for Administrative & Financial Affairs, Dr.
Lily P. Custodio, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Ramon Felipe A.
Sarmiento, Vice President for Research, Extension & Production Affairs.
Also present were Asst. Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Bernardino
Abundo, and Asst. Vice President for Administrative & Financial Affairs,
Dr. Art Tabirara, Student Regent, Renz Mickenly T. Tanael, and Head of
Motorpool Services, Mr. Larry Zuniega. The University's Medical Services
personnel led by Dr. Felix III Ma, University Nurse, Ms. Millie Gianan, and
their staff were also in attendance.
