Conducted during the last day of the four-day Career Service Exam Refresher Course, a mock test was taken by the employee-participants from the Catanduanes State University (CatSU) and Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) on February 27, 2022, at the CatSU Gymnasium.

To prepare the participants for the Agency-Requested Career Service Exam on March 13, 2022 to be held at the two identified venues: CatSU and Catanduanes National High School, the Mock Test, composed with questions contributed by the Resource Speakers cover the different subjects included in the said exam.

Also, a Closing Program was held and attended by the SUC President III of CatSU, Dr. Patrick Alain T. Azanza, PLGU SAO/ Human Resource Management Officer IV, Mr. Prince L. Subion , Mr. Raffy Canaria and HR Staff, and CatSU Agency-Requested CSE-PPT Focal Person, Ms. Zyra Mae T. Tumala.

It can be remembered that Dr. Azanza also paid visit to the Provincial Office of CSC to personally visit its Director, Ms. Enida B. Abordo and discuss issues relevant to Human Resource concerns of the university as well as the Agency-Requested Exam.

The Resource Speakers of the Review Course, who are also employees of CatSU and PLGU, were the following: Mr. Nikko Franco B. Templonuevo, Mr. Prince Subion, Ms. Elizabeth Marino, Mr. Jozam Niño I. Morales, Mr. Dave S. Tolentino, Ms. Jessica M. Barba, Ms. Reashiela L. Khan, Prof. Moreno D. Tabios Jr., Ms. Joanne Adille, Arch. Lorwena Abundo, and Mr. Jhunbee Panti.

Over 1000 CSE takers are expected to take the examination this March. From this figure, 192 will come from CatSU. They are the Job Orders, Contract of Service and Student Assistants who hope to get the Sub-Professional and Professional Eligibilities and be able to secure permanent employment in Government Agencies after passing. The said CSE-PPT as approved by the Civil Service Commission, is the first ever Agency-Requested Exam to be held in the Province of Catanduanes. Local Government Units of the different Municipalities of the Province will likewise take the exam.  #CorpComms
