𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐔 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏

The Catanduanes State University- Extension Services headed by its Director Dr. Adem Nalu V. Rubio in coordination with the Federated College Student Council (FCSC), led by Honorable Student Regent Renz Mickenly T. Tanael, will be hosting an Intercollegiate Debate competition that will be open for all CatSU students (CatSUans). The debaters from different colleges will have an elimination round next month and the winners will represent their respective colleges. According to Dr. Rubio, Atty. Rene Jon Velasco and Mr. Prince Subion will explain the rules and orientation of the said activity before the start of the event. Prizes at stake are as follows: 1st prize - Php 12, 000, 2nd Prize - Php 5,000.00 and 3rd Prize - Php 3,000.00.

The organizers said that prizes may be increased for further notice to contestants. Dr. Rubio hopes that similar event will be done annually, starting this year. Interested students are invited to join and learn the art of debate. #GZafe
