Remember Angelica Tabayag from CatSU Panganiban Campus who goes to school being taken from the back by her friends and family? Dr. Patrick  Azanza, CatSU President immediately ordered a wheelchair for her that she can bring anywhere she liked. CatSU-PC Registrar III, Noel Buendia informed the President about Angelicaโ€™s story of perseverance despite her case during the presidentโ€™s surprise visit on July 29, 2021.

This week, it was a very happy Monday for Angelica as she received her personal manual wheelchair, plus a motorized wheel chair that she can use around the campus. Dr. Ramon F. Samonte, CatSU PC Officer-in-Charge, together with Dr. Jennifer Berces, ARES Director, Zelda F. Reyes, Head of Admin & Finance showed her how it is being operated as they handed over the wheelchair.

Dr. Azanza also expressed his deep appreciation and thanks to Governor Joseph Boboy Cua and Cong.-Regent Hector S. Sanchez for the motorized wheelchair they donated, in response to his call of help.

In a message sent to Dr. Azanza and the CatSU Management, Angelica wrote: โ€œI would like to express my sincerest gratitude for this kind of gift that you have given me. Thank you would be too small for your kindness and effort. This gift of yours gave me more reason and motivation to strive harder. God made you instruments  to help those in need. Indeed, you are all God-sentโ€.

Angelica is currently enrolled as 2nd Year, Bachelor of Elementary Education at the CatSU Panganiban Campus. #cvecilles
