in elevating the quality of its degree programs for academic excellence.
Dr. Erlinda

Echo-Seminar-Workshop on Online Accreditation held at the Accreditation Center
of the University on July 28-29, 2021 as a follow through of the seminar
sponsored by AACCUP on May 26-28, 2021.
In the seminar
proper, Dr. Aurora E. Araojo, Senior Accreditor and Professor VI shared her
thoughts on the Online Accreditation System, which she emphasized was the
result of AACCUPโs paradigm shift due to the pandemic. The Dean of the College
of Education, Dr. Maria S. Tugano, on
the other hand talked about the Guidelines for the Preparation and Conduct of
Accreditation of Levels III and Level IV. Ms Ramona Michelle M. Magtangob,
Faculty, CICT explained about Online submission.
The focus of the workshop was on the
preparation of relevant documents for Level III accreditation using the New
Guidelines for Program Accreditation per AACCUP Advisory No. 5, series of 2021,
which was the topic discussed by Dr. Tabor.
The CatSU national
Accreditors and the Library Supervisor led the preparation and presentation of
their respective outputs, with the Deans of Colleges and the Directors of
Research, Extension, and Student Support Services.
โTo ensure
adherence to standards of external quality assurance body, like AACCUP,
orientation on new issuances is part of motivating the partakers towards
fruitful engagementโ, quipped Dr. Tabor.
There are 23
programs at CatSU that are expected to be accredited by ACCUP before the year
ends. #cvecilles
